Tim is a swell guy and a good friend of mine, but he as a big problem: he has too much talent and way too many different kinds of projects going on! What with the music producin’, and the video editin’ and the video games/TV shows scorin’ and just a whole lot of funny stuff makin’, this was just way too much for one website – particularly if that website is a plain old HTML piece of… digital antiquity. ;)

You can get a better idea of Tim’s peculiar mix of techno-macho-soft-hearted-Irish-80’s retro geek chic musical universe by visiting his MP3-loaded Music section or by reading my very own review of his stupendous second CD release, Ambient Pastiche.

During a long period of on-and-off planning and development, Tim and I devised a plan for a network of individual website, each representing a piece of the Tim Media Empire. The first of these assuredly awesome website is of course TimRideout.com, where we will find stuff related to Tim’s career as an artist and bubbly yet manly personality. Websites dealing with his other business endeavors will follow in the coming months.

Thanks to the goodness of Spip (my CMS of choice), Tim can now easily update his website and we can customize the site at our whim’s fancy - such as adding clickable Tim-isms quotes at the bottom of each page.

All in all it has been very enjoyable working with Tim and it will surely only become even more fun as we add other sites and features to his online presence. To give you an idea of the kind of fun we’ve had, see Tim’s beta launch announcement where he lavishes what I can only assume is well-deserved praise upon my humble and worthy self, immortalizing as well for posterity one of my crazier emails in which I give him Spip-related instructions in Old testament verse.
